Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the Demo CloudSail website, account access, user center, desktop add-in, entitlements, growth points, and ranking features. By selecting the consent box during registration or sign-in, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms.
CloudSail does not upload PPT text, slide content, file content, or file names by default.
Rankings do not display real names, presentation names, file names, or presentation content.
You may request access, correction, deletion, or account closure after identity verification.
1. Account services
Your account is used for sign-in, entitlement and version-status synchronization, growth levels, points, ranking preferences, referrals or activities, and necessary security maintenance. You are responsible for keeping access to your email, verification codes, and devices secure.
2. Information we may process
- Account and sign-in data: email address, verification status, session state, display name, entitlement status, consent version, and consent time.
- Product and device data: CloudSail version, installation or update status, basic operating-system and device information, error codes, and diagnostic logs.
- Usage and growth data: feature-use counts, effective usage duration, activity state, growth level, points, titles, and ranking preferences.
- Information you provide: messages, screenshots, and contact details submitted when requesting support.
CloudSail does not collect or upload PPT text, slide content, file content, file names, presentation titles, or customer-material content by default.
3. How we use information
We use information only to provide account access, synchronize entitlements and growth status, operate rankings, maintain and improve the product, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and protect service security. We do not sell personal information or use presentation content for advertising profiles or AI-model training.
4. Rankings and public display
Rankings may display a nickname, level, consecutive-use days, and period points. They do not display real names, presentation names, file names, slide content, or detailed work data. Where available, you may hide your nickname or opt out of rankings without stopping private growth accumulation.
5. Storage, retention, and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS, access controls, request limits, and limited diagnostic logging. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Service providers
We may use service providers for email delivery, hosting, downloads, storage, and diagnostics. They may process only the information necessary to provide the relevant service and are subject to their own privacy obligations. We do not authorize them to sell your personal information.
7. Your choices and rights
You may sign out, update available profile information, manage ranking preferences, and request access, correction, deletion, or closure of your account. To protect your account, we may verify control of the registered email before completing a request.
8. Children
Children should use CloudSail only with the guidance and consent of a parent or legal guardian. A guardian may contact us if a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent.
9. Acceptable use and service limitations
You must use CloudSail lawfully and must not infringe third-party rights, compromise service security, bypass controls, or abuse automated requests. Availability may be affected by maintenance, networks, PowerPoint or Windows compatibility, and events outside our reasonable control. Always keep independent backups of important presentations.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update this policy when product features, processing activities, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be announced through the website, product, or another reasonable channel. Where renewed consent is required, we will request it again.
